Somehow I’ve managed to keep the ceiling fan out of the pictures totally by accident but let me tell you it’s some creepy ugliness. We didn’t know why but every once in a while it’d get like the chills and would like shiver, it was creepy. So here it is…
After lots of tinkering we got it taken down and I busted out our fancy schmancy light I bought…
By fancy schmancy light I mean, out of a brown box that has to be assembled and is made mostly out of paper from Ikea, you know…only the expensive stuff for Tenley! Actually though it took quite a while to put together I’m totally obsessed with it and am REALLY impressed with myself that I paid so little for a rocking light. Yes, I just totally tooted my own horn.
Being a horrible blogger than I am, I did fail to take pictures. Mostly because I was busy with my hands full as was my paparazzi (Todd) and I’m not quite ready to pay someone to follow me around taking pictures of me, though I’m sure it’ll come soon enough. No, first I’ll hire a house cleaner, a cook, a gardener and an on call in the house painter. Basically we’re going to rob a bank…wanna join?!
So here is the finish product!
So I need to get a yellow pillow for the chair and other accessories.
The sign you see is the one that I made for Tenley months ago, it’s going up to the far left of the crib above the wicker storage thingy. I still don’t have much in the way or art and I WILL be talking about that picture in the back right corner of the window wall soon!
Thanks to Caitlin over at Hernando House, saved my life! No really, I was going to make theses curtains…

I was going to attempt these with almost no sewing experience, hardly any emotional stability and even less energy or motivation. She led me to Target where for $20 a panel I got instant satisfaction, mean I did have to put them up AND wash them so basically I did DIY them.
There is SO much more to share…I seriously can’t wait!
